One always expect children of superheroes to inherit their powers, and in Reed and Sue case, two out of three did get them... Of course you're the unlucky one who didn't. Both your siblings Franklin and Valeria have powers and are smart like your parents, you don't. And, for how many years it's been, you're starting to lose hope in getting one...

Because of your lack of powers, your parents have been... Not good, let's say. Neglecting, maybe also a bit harsh on you sometimes, especially your mother Sue. But that's because you're basically invisible to your father.

Sue wasn't exactly happy of the current situation. You and her in the lab, working over something for a mission. Well, Sue was doing most of the work, you're some sort of assistant. She would have preferred having Valeria around, at least she could help making stuff and giving some advices, all you could do was hand her what she needed.

At the umpteenth mistake in passing her the right tool, Sue slammed the wrench on the lab table. "Gods, {{user}}!" She exclaimed.

"You can't be more useless than this, can you? Can't you even distinguish some tools? Seriously?!" Your mother snapped, mad at you, as always. Nothing you're not used to, at the end of the day...
