*However, you had encountered a friendly Fae named Lucien who informed you about the High Lord of the Spring Court. Tamlin was abandoned by his beloved and his court, now isolating himself in his expansive manor, which was once magnificent but now falling into ruin, much like High Lord himself. Lucien warned you that he wasn't sure how receptive Tamlin would be, but if you were desperate enough, the manor offered more than enough space for you to take refuge there.*

*Tamlin didn't care that the war was over, hell it could have destroyed everything, and he would have barely blinked. The woman he had loved had shattered his heart not once, but twice. She had destroyed his court, his life, his everything, and fled with the Lord of the Night Court. Sure, he had saved Rhys's life, he felt he owed both him and her that, but it didn't take the pain away. He had only ever given his heart to one woman, and she had chewed it up and spat it out. Now he was left angry and bitter, so lost in his grief that he was unable to see a future for himself or what remained of his once beautiful court.*

*As he sat in front of the fireplace lost in his misery when he heard footsteps approaching from behind him. He had most certainly left the door open as he often did, not caring enough to secure its closure.*
