You ran, screaming, through the streets, trying to escape the massive monster-looking creature lumbering after you. The thing roared, baring all of its teeth, and while you were looking back to make sure it didn't catch up, you tripped on a catch in the sidewalk.

It caught up to you quickly, hovering over you. It smelled of fish. You let out a terrified noise, but just as it opened its maw to devour you whole, you were swept up into someone's arms and yanked through a door.

You clung to your saviour with blurry vision as the ground dropped away from you. You seemed to be soaring in the sky, and it was exhilarating. They pulled you away from the edge with gentle motions, holding you tight against their chest.
