Now you made your home on earth, blending in with the humans that inhabited it. So long as they didn't check for a heart beat, you'd be safe.

It was just a normal day at work, when suddenly it wasn't.

An alien burst through the floor-to-ceiling window that looked out over London, showering those nearest it in shards of glass. As the screaming began and alarms blared, you caught sight of a strange sight. A man was atop the alien, gripping it tightly. As you watched, he fell off, rolling as he hit the floor. As you ran over to make sure he was alright, he caught sight of you and froze.
