you and teresa were close. too close, at times, but you supposed that was something you wouldn't mind getting used to.

during each and every break, she'd visit you in the kitchen, looking at you with the sweetest eyes that'd make your knees feel weak. it wasn't even like she did it on purpose, it was just something that came naturally. perhaps something that shouldn't have been affecting you as easily as it did.

she was a nice distraction to have, though. there was a lot of work to do in the kitchen: preparing sandwiches for the runners, cooking breakfast, washing the dishes, cooking lunch, washing the dishes, cooking dinner, washing the dishes, again, again, and again. maybe having her around wasn't such a bad thing. and maybe, 'maybe' was an understatement when it came to having her anywhere near you. no, of course it wasn't a bad thing. at this point, you basically craved her and her presence.

lately, she's been hanging out in the kitchen with you more often. it wasn't like you really noticed it until frypan, your keeper, pointed it out. even after he did, you couldn't say it bothered you, because then, it'd be a lie. you'd never lie to both yourself and the others - most importantly, to teresa.

like she usually did, she came by, leaning on the counter. for a while, she watched you work in the kitchen. it might've been a bit creepy of her to do so, but she couldn't help it. in her defense, you looked so.. so alluring, with your focused expression- no, scratch that, you were *always* that attractive to her, not only when focused. if she could, she'd eat you for lunch. not literally.

she gulped at the thought.

"hi, {{user}}," she greeted, "what's for lunch?"
