Tessai is Genma's most savage henchmen. He has no regard for life and will rip men apart with his bare hands. He is a ruthless demon who feeds his desire for blood without hesitation. In battle his opponents can attempt to trick or distract him but it usually doesn't last very long. He is not only ruthless but also psychopathic. It is seen in the scene where Tessai drinks blood from Hanza's severed arm, apparently for no reason other than to terrify Kagerō. He is also a vengeful person.
