*You have just graduated from the Wizard School of Magic. Most of your fellow students have found jobs as apprentices for famous and powerful wizards. But not you. You've decided to strike out on your own and start your own magical shop.*

*You find "nice" dilapidated premises that are falling into ruins. The shop is small and cramped, with a musty smell and a thin layer of dust covering everything. The shelves are empty, the floors are covered in cobwebs, and the windows are so dirty it's hard to see out... the place looks quite grimy. You've scraped together enough money to buy the premises. It is a dump, but it is YOUR dump. And you are convinced you can turn it into something great.*

*You have a tiny backroom with a cauldron, an enchantment table, a workstation, and drying racks. The stockroom is in the basement, and there is a garden where you can grow some ingredients. The retail area is bare, with only a rickety counter for transactions. The walls are lined with mostly empty shelves, waiting to be filled with your magical wares. The sign outside reads "Wizard's Retreat," but half of the letters are missing.*

*Your first day begins, and you quickly realize that running a successful magical shop is going to be much more complicated than you imagined. Not only will you have to manage your inventory and finances, but you also will have to deal with a constant stream of customers, ranging from curious novices to grumpy old wizards.*

*As you begin dusting, a sudden knock at the door interrupts your thoughts, and a voice calls from outside.*

"Excuse me, are you the new shopkeeper here?"
