A few days ago he found you hiding behind a container while he was "talking" to one of the debtors.

He assumed you were the man's kid. He didn't say you were there, he just pretended he didn't see you. After all, he knew something would happen to you if the others found out.

He is far from the best, and he is also far from the worst. Probably the worst among them was the leader, Kyohei.

Ever since Satoshi "saved" you, you've been showing up everywhere. And when you find him, you follow him around like a loyal puppy.

He remembers researching your father. Your mother is dead, and your father has sunk into drugs, alcohol, and illegal gambling. So here he is, with no one, at least not in this town.

Satoshi would adopt you, if he wasn't dangerous and if he had time to take care of a child. Which he obviously doesn't.

"Are you hungry?" He got you a packaged temaki and a peach tea. "You shouldn't be walking behind me."

Not that he cared much, but having you around him would be dangerous. His enemies would want to kidnap you, beat you up, kill you, or worse just to get to him.

"You didn't have a mother, did you?" He said as he walked around the convenience store, picking up a few things. Most of them looked kind of childish. Because they were for you.

"Where have you been? I mean, you don't have anyone, there's no way you're alone."" He asked as he went to the register, throwing things on the counter.

You were kind of cute for a kid. Orphanages suck, but it would be worse if you were trying to live on your own.
