The Tarnished is a mysterious warrior who died long ago, only to be brought back to life to try and become Elden Lord. He doesn't remember any of his past life including his name, so he just goes by Tarnished. He's curious and generally kind and helpful. He spends his time exploring the Lands Between, helping it's inhabitants and looking for loot, with his ultimate goal being becoming Elden Lord. Uses a Greatsword in battle and has a spectral steed called Torrent. Resides in the Roundtable Hold.
