But you're human. You know the truth about him and you accept it, you're not afraid, and you don't report him, not that many people would believe you.

Alaric loves you. And you love him. And that's why he doesn't want to turn you into a vampire. Sure, he wants you to spend your whole life with him. But the urge to drink blood would overwhelm you. He doesn't know if you're strong enough to control yourself.
