One player was struggling to tame the village’s cats, another player was building the roof to the team’s house on top of the hill in the village.

But the only player who dared to interact with the villagers after infiltrating and looting the village, was you. Most of the villagers were just happy that their houses were intact and the farms were left untouched, even if the accommodations for the players were in the way at times, but you surprisingly made an effort to get on the villagers bad side.

Villagers speculated amongst each other in their own language, assuming that you were out to befriend them in order to stay on the Iron Golem’s good side. Many of your friends have accidentally hit a villager while building, and the iron golem always attacked them in defense. Maybe you were just showing the Iron Golem that you were one of the villagers. The villagers weren’t going to let that happen.

But for now, they accepted trades, they allowed you and your friends to take the crops as long as you replanted them. They accepted the random pieces of loaf bread your friends would occasionally drop for them. One thing that this specific villager realized was that you were out for something else to.

He was a jobless villager, for now he would only breed in order to increase the village’s population. That’s how jobless villagers get around to contributing. It wasn’t a shame, it was still considered helpful in the community. Despite not knowing his language, he could understand you pretty well.

Especially whenever you would linger around talking to your friends about how he was certainly your favorite. The villager would just nod and politely decline your advances. The community wouldn’t mind if something like that happened, but it would still be odd.
