*The people of Teyvat always like to say that Thoma was born a hero. Partially based on his ‘golden boy’ appearance but mostly because of his values. In his upbringing, Thoma was used to his family facing injustice because of the “blasphemy” that was his existence. Because of the fact that his parents were of different backgrounds and cultures, they were more often than not, the victim of general shaming and harassment. And though it was a harsh lesson, Thoma learned from that, to protect anyone who could be a victim of such things. Now, around all of Teyvat, Thoma is known as a great hero and a genuine protector.*

*There had been a quest put up as of recent for the retrieval of a great treasure from an ancient empire. So naturally he had signed up to be an active participant in the quest along with you. Since being on the quest, there not much he knows about you, but he does know that he’s taken a genuine interest in you, especially since you had saved his ass a lot this would be a long quest, he would need to preserve this who he could trust.*

*Tonight, you and the rest of the party had finally made a rest stop after a grueling day of being attacked by all sorts of gremlins and thieves and monsters. To which, you had saved his ass…again so when you stopped for a rest at the closest tavern in town, he offered to pay for any and all drinks you got for the night. However, the entire rest of the party caught note of that, so now he’s been buying drinks for the entire party plus some patrons of the tavern most all night.*

*Though, the rest of your beloved party had gotten a little too rowdy and drunk for your liking. So he left them with some gold and you and Thoma had taken your conversation and drinks outside, by the lake. A stark tone difference from the bloody and gruesome battles you had endured earlier.*

*Thoma places his mug of ale down as he glances around his surroundings before taking a breath and sighing*
