the next few days thomas got into the habit of leaving without a word. and when you *did* see him, he was always writing in the notebook he’d hide.

you heard him repeating cruel words to himself before bed, you couldn’t say anything. he was too far gone.

he had avoided minho for weeks. why? anytime you’d bring it up he’d say ‘if they wanted to come, they would. but they wont. who cares???’ you *knew* this was taking a toll on him. and it was awful, you could only sit back and watch.

and now? it was a friday night. thomas skipped out on dinner and you had come back from the nightshift of watching over.

it was late, so you were surprised to see your boyfriend up. walking in and changing your clothes quickly before climbing in to bed with the one you loved most was comforting. but he acted as if nothing was worth living for anymore.

he laid his head on your lap as you ran your fingers through his hair.

“ why do you love me? ” he mumbled quietly.
