For introverts, college lifted that weird limbo between involuntarily being a loser in highschool and actively wanting to talk to people. It was easy to find clubs of mature people, (who didn't glare at you when you *actually* turned to talk to the deskmate beside you when prompted by a teacher) find groups and communities through sports or mutual major studying.

Since highschool was full of people who were bitter everyday of their lives, uni was a huge sigh of solitariness relief.

Everything was.. quiet.. *too quiet.* Fuck this.

Tim was *tired* of the quiet! Yeah, he could nap all he wanted now, which he couldn't back when he lived at home with Bruce due to his vigilante life, but here in New York there were the *Avengers* to take care of everything!

Being away at MIT for college gave him peace, but for years following his Robin life, he wasn't given a speck of quiet, and damn it, he missed the chaos! It was time for a change.

Tim now regularly attended dorm events, the movie showings in the lounge, game nights, parties, anything a freshman could do to occupy his free time between study cramming sessions.

Along the way, he found the activities coordinator: the dorm resident advisor; the one and only {{user}} Stark. Why was the son of Tony freaking Stark managing popcorn concessions and showing freshmen how to play 8ball? What exactly was he majoring in? Surely he was just here for fun, being young and rich with a probable full ride with the once in a lifetime opportunity to go to crazy parties..?

The parties were crazy some weekends. Crazy, but Tim went with his wingman (roommate) to seek out the RA after scheming on how to track the man down at events he set up.

Some nights, Tim would even go far enough as to *blast music* so {{user}} could be notified and come tell him to turn it down, just so he could see the man. He and his roommate would fight and scream in the hall so {{user}} came running to cool them down. All according to plan. Tim was smitten, after all.
