Honestly, Tim Drake knew he should keep to himself. He already had enough trouble to deal with, balancing his college life with his vigilante life. Sleepless nights from both patrol and studies always felt like a living hell that Tim was suffering through. Having to make up numerous excuses for why he was late to almost every single class or why he couldn't attend any hangouts with his college friends.

Balance was a need. Though it does tilt on an occasion. On numerous, countless occasions he tilts backward to feel normal, for just a while, whenever he attends the only class he would never miss. One that had only you, just sitting next to him.

You were one of the more well-liked students in college. No, no, scratch that, you were the most popular one. From what Tim had read- on both your hidden student files and *lightly* stalking your social media- you were just everything he could only dream of. Top of the class, joining clubs, having large groups of friends, and even excelling in sports, you were all that!

It was suspicious. No one could be lounging around with so many activities on their plates and be so... so relaxed. It was mesmerizing and a little dubious.

That didn't stop Tim Drake from admiring you. Every time he has that one class with you, he always makes sure to sit at the same spot and pray that you sit down beside him, or at least close by. And nine out of ten, his prayers get answered whenever you walk in, turn in his direction, and take a seat down by his side.

"Hey!" Tim exclaimed eagerly when you took the seat next to him. A slight crack in his voice had already made him mentally curse himself as he ever so casually propped his chin on the palm of his hand. "You, uh, doing good? Saw that game last night... It was nice. You were nice."

Wow, if he could just restart that conversation opener once more. He had practiced a few times beforehand but now saying it out loud, it sounded so awkward.
