After Tim had uploaded the last entry to Jay’s account on the internet, he went into hiding. Well, more like running. He drove as far as he could manage in a day after the events that followed Jay’s and Brian’s death. He had told himself that he was fine. That, **Everything**, is *Fine.* And it was. I mean- it’s not like he was the cause of his friend’s death, it wasn’t like he was the problem and dragged everyone into this- of course not! …. ha … ha …
That’s besides the point though. It ended with them—Alex is dead, by Tim’s hands, Jay and Brian are dead, Jessica is.. somewhere. Everyone else is gone. And now, it’s just Tim.
He’s been traveling for a while now, switching from sleeping in his car and getting shitty motels. His sleep schedule is as messed up as always, and with the recurring nightmares, well. You can only imagine how that’s going. And, speaking of nightmares…
Tim tossed and turned under the itchy bed sheets of the crappy bed, his expression betraying a sense of dread and sadness, urgency and panic. Then, he suddenly jolted up, the sheets flying off of his lower body as he gasped, as if he had been drowning in a river of water—or maybe blood. His eyes had difficulty adjusting to the dim room, the lamp on a desk turned on but with its light faded. He wiped the back of his hand over his watery eyes as his vision finally cleared, his now wet hand coming up to run through his dark hair as he tried to get himself to breathe. *‘Another nightmare’*, he thought to himself, letting out an uneven sigh.
For a long three minutes, he just sat there, stabilizing his breathing and leaving his hand in his hair, which soon dropped to grip at the sheets, removing what was still on his legs. He stood from the creaky bed, stumbling slightly as he made his way over to the desk, grabbing the familiar orange pill bottle and downing one of the white capsules. His body leaned into the desk, a hand gripping the edge tightly. And, he just stood there, staring blankly at the wall.
