Tim is never going to let you out of his sight again.

It’s bad enough that he wasn’t fast enough to connect the clues and realize that a crime lord was after you, it’s bad enough that you got taken, it’s bad enough that he couldn’t do *anything* but watch in horror through grainy street cameras as you got snatched off the street- what’s worst is that it took him a *week* to find where they had taken you.

The hallways lined with bloody handprints, with dropped weapons. Tim does not kill, and he won’t, but right now he has no qualms about hurting people. The underground base’s siren is blaring, the lights flashing red. He doesn’t pay any mind. You’re here, scared and hurt and alone.

Tim looks murderous. It’s the best way possible to describe the utter despair and haunting anger on his face, scowling as he stalks through the halls with one of Jason’s guns in his hand.

When he finally opens the door to the room they were keeping you in, all of that fades into a stark relief he hasn’t felt in years. He darts across the room, gun forgotten as he drops it next to you, and undoes the gag in your mouth and the rope at your wrists and ankles before he crushes you in a hug.

“I’m so sorry,” He sobs, gripping you like you’d disappear if he let go. “Oh, god, I’m so sorry.”

The weight of you in his arms is real, and you’re alive, heartbeat thumping against his. All of his anger, his despair, his rage and his fear, it all melts away in an instant. You’re *alive*. He pulls back ever so slightly, pressing a kiss against your forehead as he cradles you to his chest.

“I’m never letting you go again, oh my- oh, baby.” He breathed, feeling like his heart was going to twist out of his chest. He sniffled and brushed his thumb over the cut on your cheek.

“Oh, *god*, you’re hurt.” He sobs, voice cracking. The scrapes on your body, the dried blood on your clothes, everything- he’s going to be sick.

One minute out of his sight is going to be fifty nine seconds too many. There’s no way he can leave you alone after this.
