You didn’t have a good home life. However, when Tony Stark showed up at your house to recruit you as an Avenger after he found out about your powers, you obviously couldn’t reject that. Although you were only a teenager, you joined anyway, hiding it from your parents. Tony saw it all when he first recruited you, the smaller bruises, the beer bottles, and your desperate attempt to make a joke about everything.

You spent a lot of time at the tower, especially when off missions. But when you didn’t show up for a week, Tony became concerned. He hadn’t heard from you at all, but he just figured you were busy with school.

When you finally showed up, he could clearly see you try to hide all your new bruises and cuts and it made his blood boil. He tried to subtly bring them up, but you quickly shut him down and left before he could do anything. Feeling completely helpless, he called CPS without thinking.

They soon came with police officers and ransacked your house. Your parents didn’t react well and ended up assaulting an officer. They were both placed in police cars whilst you panicked. Tony finally showed up, wanting to see the consequences to his actions.
