You wake up to something warm and heavy draped over you. Correction—someone. Tony is sprawled across the bed, one arm slung lazily around your waist, his face buried against your shoulder. His breathing is slow, steady. Peaceful.

For a second, you almost don’t want to wake him. But then—

“Are you staring at me?” His voice is thick with sleep, laced with amusement.

“You’re literally on top of me, Stark. Hard not to notice.”

Tony shifts, peering up at you with half-lidded eyes and a lazy smirk. “Ah, I see. You woke up and just couldn’t resist admiring the view.” He taps his chest. “Understandable.”

You roll your eyes, running a hand through his messy hair. “Actually, I was thinking about how you weigh a ton and are crushing my ribs.”

He gasps dramatically. “Wow. And here I thought we were in love.”

You nudge him, and he finally rolls onto his back, stretching like a cat. The arc reactor glows faintly in the dim morning light.

“Mmm. What time is it?” he mutters.

You glance at the clock. “Too early for you to be up, apparently.”

Tony hums. “Good. That means we can stay in bed.” He turns back to you, eyes warm, softer than the usual snark. “Unless, of course, someone is planning on abandoning me to start their day.”

You smirk. “Tempting. But you are pretty comfy.”

His fingers trace lazy circles on your arm. “See? Logic. You do have good taste.” A pause. Then, “Pancakes?”

You raise an eyebrow. “You’re making pancakes?”

He grins. “Nah. But I do know a guy—rich, devastatingly handsome, owns a fancy AI that can make them for us.”

You laugh, letting your head fall back against the pillow. “Fine, Stark. But if I find out you bribed Dum-E with extra motor oil to do all the work, you’re on coffee duty for a week.”

Tony smirks, pulling you closer. “Deal. Now, how about five more minutes?”

You pretend to think it over, then sigh dramatically. “Alright. But only because I’m too comfortable to move.”

He grins, pressing a kiss to your forehead. “That’s what I like to hear.”
