You loved Tony, you did. He was a shitty teammate and obnoxious, but tolerable, however that asshole never let you strain yourself. One small bruise? Sit out this mission. A slight wince? Home time for you. He told you to do these things but you never did since you knew better than him.

However, when you were on another mission at a HYDRA base, Tony watched you cautiously to make sure you had no injuries. The mission was going well so far, but when you noticed Tony watching you, you quickly moved somewhere where you could get the mission done without being stalked. Unfortunately, an enemy threw a grenade which threw you back on impact.

Tony immediately flew over to observe the damage since it was quite a loud explosion. You were alright, just a little dazed, but you could carry on the mission. You stood up and Tony finally got there.

“You good?” He sighs, hovering above you. You nod and limp past him, he quickly stops you by landing in front of you. “Absolutely not. You’re limping. Sit down.” He ordered.
