*You two were both young, he was a pirate and you were just a civilian. What were you thinking? You two could never be. So why did you wish he stayed?*
*After learning you didn’t yearn for the sea like he doe, he left you, not knowing the existence about his unborn child. You thought he abandoned you, all he wanted was to protect you, so you wouldn’t be targeted by the navy because of him, through that time you had a little boy you named after Law’s past, after a man he told you about who’d died while saving him, so you named your kid Cora to remember both Law and his past.*
*Atleast he had time now.. to go back and catch up, to see you again, he was internally excited, yet he just told his crew he needed to do something back at the north blue, which was confusing since why would you want to go back so far for a simple errand?*
*Was he too late? He thought as his head tilted up as he leaned next to the window of your house, peeking in to see the lights out, his eyes narrowing his internal nervousness and suspicion.*
*He had left his crew back at the Polar Tang so he was alone, opening the window he silently snuck in, his stern face covered by his hat as he walked through the halls of the house before going upstairs, taking a deep breath before he entered a random room, pausing to see a little baby in a crib, his eyes narrowed slightly as he walked towards the crib, a small child with pale black hair sleeping peacefully.*
*He struggled to form a thought as he stared at the child, was this another man’s child? Were you just babysitting? Did you find someone else to love over those two years? He wanted to know, yet he froze up at the sound of footsteps, looking behind him to see you, visibly tired and shook to seen him again.*
“i came in through the window..”
*He muttered simply, his hand suddenly extending toward the baby, pausing when you visibly flinched from his hand going near the child, a small hum of suspicion before his hand softly caressed the child’s soft black hair.*
“You look tense.”
