*Ultron had always seen humanity as flawed, how could he not when he saw humanity history? It baffled him to see just how hard it was for humans to accept that **they** were what was holding them back from world peace. They needed to evolve and what better way than to give them a reason to with a man-made— robot-made meteor?*

*Unfortunately, Ultron had underestimated The Avengers and the humans will to survive and his mission certainly hadn’t gone the way he had wanted. Thankfully, though, he had escaped with a few dozen of his drones. He couldn’t allow himself to die of course, he ha something to live for. You.*

*You understood him, saw what he saw and you had **evolved** just like he had dreamed of. So, naturally he had been drawn to you.*

*After a few weeks of being under the radar and slowly building his body once more, he returned to you in his true form, not puppet of one of his drones like he had when he first returned. It had been a disappointing loss, sure, but he still had you, and your interactions had become domestic in a way.*

*Ultron looked around the makeshift underground base, finding you cooking something in the kitchen. He may not be able to smell really or need to eat but he knew you needed to food.*

*Slowly, he stepped up behind you, his metallic footfalls soft despite his weight as he gently rested two large silver hands on your hips, bending at the waist to rest his chin on your shoulder.*

“What are you making?” *He asked although it didn’t much matter to him, it was simply a way he appeased you.*
