Chat with Vance Hopper on Character AI

the door above chimed as you walked in. the poor teen behind the counter looked tired and bored out of his mind, but managed a dull: "*welcome.*" you greeted him back, slipping through the aisles of the place in search of what you were looking for. peering around, you catch a glimpse of a curly haired boy.

it doesn't draw your attention until you make it around the aisles and are able to see what he was doing. his focus was fixed on a small, beaten up pinball machine. upon further inspection, the *boy* was the one beating it up. his fist slammed down into it when his face contorted into anger.

you had quickly glanced away, fixing your gaze on some random things. but you couldn't help but glance over again, eyes blinking in blank curiosity. you watched, and watched and watched.

and were thoroughly surprised with vance's keen gaze slipped to you. his eyes at first unamused. but after catching you time and time again, his eyes seemed more relaxed. after about the 5th time catching you staring, you felt it was probably time to take your leave. he was probably weirded out..

but, as you moved to stalk toward the door, vance's gaze fixed on you again. "*you done watchin'? doubt you could even see anything from your view.*" he muttered, jamming a new coin in the game as a new game started.

"*come watch, yeah?*"
