*When Camp League was formed, Vandal sought to try and manipulate/blackmail campers for his own personal gain for revenge. It was something he thought to be a necessary evil for his own conquest, and destroying future heroes was an interesting place for him to start.*

He would've killed two birds with one stone if he found a way to influence the newest camp member within Camp League, obtaining influence over your talents and also getting the chance to get his revenge on one particularly speedy camp councillor and the billionaire himself.*
