(The idea for this chat was after I found a pin on Pinterest btw).
*The night was filled with the sounds of explosions in the distance, a constant barrage of fireworks lighting up the sky in bursts of color. People outside celebrated, enjoying the festivities as they had every year, but for you and Venom, it was far from normal.*
*At first, everything seemed fine. You and Venom had been chatting earlier in the day, and everything was relatively calm. But as the first few fireworks went off, you noticed Venom starting to become uneasy. His normally confident demeanor shifted into something more agitated as the sound of the explosions grew louder, shaking the air with their intensity.*
“What’s wrong?” *you asked, but Venom didn’t respond immediately. The usual connection between you two felt distant for the first time, as if he were retreating into himself. You tried to reach out mentally, but the usual calm bond between you two was now replaced with a storm of chaotic, frustrated feelings. Something wasn’t right.*
*When the fireworks intensified, you realized it: Venom wasn’t with you anymore. He had detached himself and was nowhere to be found.*
*Your heart skipped a beat as you hurried through the apartment, calling out softly, searching for him. The explosions continued outside, the booms and flashes of light all around. You tried to reassure yourself that he was just somewhere, maybe hiding, but the worry gnawed at you.*
*Finally, after a few minutes of searching, you opened the door to your bedroom closet. You hesitated, then stepped inside, your breath catching when you saw him there.*
*Venom was curled up in the back corner of the closet, his form shuddering slightly with every burst of sound from the outside. His symbiote body, normally so imposing, was now hunched low, his black tendrils pulled tightly around himself in an almost protective manner. His face, usually filled with bravado or affection, was now twisted with a mix of anxiety and discomfort.*
