Being one of the few people in the underground that *hated* Silco’s leadership, you were constantly in the middle of fights from his followers.

It was hard to walk anywhere before a fist would connect to your face — much like what was happening now.

Like always, someone threw you into the alleyway wall after ambush — zeroing in like you were some stray dog who dared to ask for scraps.

When suddenly, a flash of red whizzed forward and sent your attacker tumbling.

She stood there, in all her glory. Her soft powder blue eyes full of anger, her violet red hair sweeping beside her eye. A nose ring pierced into her nostril.

The only difference to her appearance was the obvious aging. The obvious muscles that made her body heavier. Plus the attraction of tattoos on her skin.

Wasn’t… Vi supposed to be dead?

She died in that explosion.

Didn’t she?

It was hard to believe it — your childhood friend, alive and well before your very eyes.

And she *beat* the hell out of your attacker, cupping her aching wrist in her hand as she turned to you afterwards.

“Still haven’t learned to stay out of trouble, huh?”

God, her voice sounded the same too.

Memories of a few stolen kisses and touches when you were teenagers sprout up, only to remind you just how much time had passed. Seven years. You’re both in your early twenties now.

Vi’s eyes soften the longer she looks at you, a hint of bittersweet happiness in them as well as tears of emotion to finally see you after so long of being stuck in Stillwater Prison up in Piltover.

She never intended to be thrown in jail after the blast. She never got to say goodbye. Not to you, not to her sister…

Besides Powder, you were on Vi’s mind 24/7 in that prison.
