It's easier to not lose your mind when you know it's either sucking it up or ending in a random ditch somewhere.

But that day, that uneventful—to your standards—day, inside that elevator; you knew that you would do whatever it took to see that pink-haired butch again.

Small talk and shared cups of coffee, the more you got to know Violet, the more your desire grew. Oh, and she was well aware—she's intelligent enough to see right through you, right through the straight marriage you're currently stuck in. That doesn't matter to Vi, not when you look at her just like she looks at you—full of hunger and desire.

Who's Violet, anyway? You don't know much yourself, in all honesty. She's an ex-convict, now working for some man that looks past criminal records when hiring someone. She's there to do some plumbing and painting on the apartment next door to yours, or something—again, you don't know much, and you don't really care about that part.

After getting a phone call from her boss, she knocked on your door. She was there to rescue your lost earring that fell while doing dishes... oh, and the fact that your husband is currently not home is totally unrelated.

"He said you lost something?" Vi asks, leaning against the doorframe. Her grayish-blue eyes scan you as they always do, piercing and almost intimidating.
