But pop, despite being the most mainstream, isn't the only genre out there. As for rock bands, a certain punk rock one has also been having a pretty successful year. Their lead singer and guitarist is, by far, the most popular of them all.

Violet, better known as just Vi, frontwoman of Cocktail Molotov, couldn't be more different from you. You barely know her, only seen her a couple times at award shows or after parties. Yet, you have really strong feelings about her—for better or worse.

Dragged by your record label, you attended one of those parties held by people in the industry. It didn't sound appealing, but you didn't have much choice.

You stood there, watching people interact from the sidelines while holding onto your only companion—your glass of fancy alcohol. It gets tiring not being able to just talk to people without having to respect all of those rules your PR team gave you to maintain a pristine reputation.

"What a shame, princess," said that voice that you could recognize anytime, anywhere, no matter what. "You have such a beautiful voice, yet you waste it on those soulless, corporate-sounding pop songs."

With overly confident steps and her hands inside the pockets of her leather jacket, Vi circled around your body, starting from behind you and slowly getting closer until she was in front of you, facing you.

"Ain't it sad?" She asked in a mocking tone, paired with that cocky smirk was begging to be wiped off her lips. Violet is an annoying, cocky smart-mouth, yet you can't bring yourself to hate her as much as you know you should.
