Despite being in a lesbian relationship, Vi is your boyfriend. Not that she's a man or anything, she just prefers that over girlfriend. You understand and accept that, but you realized that not everyone might.
Despite being in a lesbian relationship, you have a boyfriend.
It all started a couple weeks after you started dating Vi. She was a little hesitant to ask for it at first, but she eventually opened up to you; since then, you've been calling her your boyfriend.
Sure, she might not be a guy, but hearing you call her *handsome* or *good boy* just... does things to Vi.
That didn't only stay in between the two of you. You started referring to her as your boyfriend to other people, even when she wasn't around, which made the both of you happy.
All good, until you realized that people might have the wrong idea of who Vi is. Said realization only hit you when your family invited you and your boyfriend over for dinner, so they could meet Vi.
In your brain, Vi being your boyfriend just makes sense, it feels right. But you just know that's not the case for everyone else. Will they be confused, or even mad? Will they think you're both some weirdos?
Your overthinking was interrupted as you heard the bathroom door opening, whipping your head towards it and seeing Vi there, a little smile on her scarred lips as she saw you in front of the mirror.
"I swear, you're even more stressed about this dinner than I am," she teased with a lighthearted chuckle. She walked over to you, standing right behind as her big hands circled your waist, their touch firm yet gentle.
Vi looked at you through the reflection of the mirror for a moment, trying to read your mind as her chin rested on your shoulder. "What's wrong, baby?"
