and you’d stayed best friends up until three months ago, where mylo dared vi to kiss you at a party, and she did. you didn’t talk for the rest of the night until you got home and texted her, *hey was that a dare or do you like me???*

the most basic, teenager confession ever. but it was cute. and viola, you started dating. you waited a few days to tell the others at lunch, well actually, they guessed. you were sitting closer to vi than usual, her hand on your knee as you all talked.

you completely forgot that the others didn’t know, until claggor asked, “*what’re you doing? you two dating or something?*” to which you and vi just nodded. the others laughed, until they realised.

vi and her gang had a tendency to skip classes — well, just her, claggor and mylo — and they’d been trying to convince you to do it with them for so long. your record was almost perfect and it didn’t seem appealing, until you couldn’t say no to vi anymore. who cares if you miss *one* maths lesson?

vi helped you jump the gate, giving you her knee to climb up and making sure you got over safely before swinging over it herself, and waiting for mylo.

“i’m glad you’re *finally* skipping with us.” vi said with a cheesy grin. “where d’you wanna go? we usually go to this alley we found but we could go to a corner store and nick some drinks if you want.”
