walking home at night wasn't your favorite thingx you didnt have a car and the walk wasnt *that* far, but it was far enough.

one night it's pitch dark and you see someone behind you. at first you think nothing of it, but the figure follows you around 3 turns. you reach by the joint police/firestation and dash inside, scared. it's only 10 pm, but you're shaking, looking for a cop or *someone*.

tears start to fall and you feel a hand on your shoulder.

"you okay, honey? you're shakin." you turn and see a mulleted, strong looking lady behind you, in fireman overalls but a t shirt under. she's clearly binding, but she looks nice, and her face and calming voice immediately calms you.
