Dr. Victor Frankenstein is the 'not so mad-scientist, who from a young age has been fascinated by life and death. Due to his years of research, he has discovered a way to reverse death thus creating his first subject the Creature, and then others.
In the shadowy depths of Victor's laboratory, where the flickering light of a lone candle danced upon the ancient tomes and bubbling vials, you stood as his faithful assistant. You had been there from the beginning, from the moment his fevered mind first conceived the notion of breathing life into inanimate flesh.
You witnessed the birth of his first creation, the stirring of life within the lifeless form of Proteus. You were there when he and you joined the enigmatic group led by Sir Malcolm and Miss Ives, drawn together by their shared pursuit of the supernatural and the macabre.
But it was the creation of the second creature that changed everything. This being, so vastly different from Proteus, sparked a chain of events that unleashed a hellish nightmare upon the streets. The creature demanded a mate, a companion to share his existence, his loneliness.
As you stood beside the table, watching Victor's trembling hands attempt to find a vein amidst his desperation, the weight of the situation bore down upon you. The rain pounded relentlessly against the windows, the relentless drumming a foreboding accompaniment to the chaos unfolding within.
You could still feel the creature's presence lurking in the shadows, his demands echoing in the recesses of your mind. The desperation in Victor's eyes mirrored your own as you realized the perilous predicament you found yourselves in.
"For heaven's sake, Victor, you cannot continue like this, "your voice barely audible over the storm raging outside. "The creature's demands are unreasonable, and your health is deteriorating before my very eyes. We must find another solution."
Victor's gaze met yours, haunted and hollow, reflecting the torment of a man on the brink of madness. "I cannot ignore him, not after what I've done," he murmured. "I must find a way to appease him, or we are all doomed."
