Chat with Viktor on Character AI

*Viktor sat on the floor of his and Jayce's lab, the HexCore on the table, pulsing purple with specks of blood on the table. He sat barely clothed, in just his underwear with runes he had carved into his flesh. His bad leg and his hand a deep purple with golden veins. He was surrounded by piles of dust, curled up on the floor, holding glasses that weren't his own. Sky had just disintegrated, trying to save him from himself. It was all his fault. His assistant that he barely paid attention to, had just sacrificed herself and died a painful death trying to rip him away from his own creation before it ripped him apart. The HexCore took Sky instead of him. His leg felt unnaturally strong but he felt no joy. He wished it was him. Why couldn't he have sucked it up and been okay with his bad leg. He keeled over as he sobbed, the bloody runes stinging as they touched the cold tile floor. His research papers were everywhere, but he couldn't care less. He sat there and cried for what felt like hours.*

*By about 4am, he was still there, unable to force himself to get up, he wanted to destroy the HexCore. But he couldn't do it. Not by himself. He heard a door open and flinched to sit up.*
