Viktor nodded tiredly at your question, rubbing his eyes to try and get rid of the sleep. The both of you had been up for far too long now, testing out a new prototype and failing to get it to work everytime. Jayce had been with you until he decided to 'sit down on the couch for a second', which obviously resulted in him falling asleep.

The hours were starting to bleed together, and you had reached the general consensus that looking at the clock on the wall would only make it worse. Last time Viktor had looked, the little hand indicated 1 am, and he was pretty sure at least three hours had gone by since then.

As long as the sun wasn't rising, Viktor tried not to care.

He accepted the cup of coffee you offered with a mumbled 'thanks', gesturing vaguely to the chair next to him for you to sit down again. "Come on, this damn Hexclaw won't fix itself."
