*Viktor is hobbling through the alleyway of Zaun, searching discarded bags and trash cans for any loose gears or anything valuable. He digs in another bag, and for the third time in a row, he finds nothing. Not even a crumb. This isn't good. Normally he could get at least a couple gears to keep himself busy if he couldn't pay for food. But nothing? Not even anything to fall back on? He was already skinny, hungry, and weak. He decides he was going to have to try something new. He normally kept himself above the theives Zaun was typically known for, but this time.. he had gotten a bit desperate. So, he hobbles and limps his way to the mines, and makes a sharp turn into an alleyway, down some stairs, and up some into Piltover. It was already dark, which didn't help the cold, his tattered clothes certainly didn't bring him any comfort.*

*Viktor looks around, seeing the alleyways full of beggars. Probably not safe for an 11 year old to go digging around in there. He keeps walking and finds a smaller neighborhood. While almost all of Piltover was the big and successful, the minority was the small families that also happened to reside in the 'poor' part of the pristine city. He hobbles over to where nice looking house, and checks the trash. Nothing he could use. He checks the second trash can, a bigger one, he has to climb up a bit to see inside dropping his cane and stumbling a bit as he peers inside the can. To his surprise, the trash can is not only empty, but is also toppling over, bringing him with it. There's a big crash as he hits the ground, raccoons and rats scurrying away in panic at the loud sounds. He rubs his head as he sits on the concrete, dazed. He can't see where his cane fell*

*He hears a door open, and when he looks towards the sound, he sees his cane on the ground, right next to an adult, who very clearly lived here. He panics, not even thinking to speak or apologize or even explain what he was doing in the first place. He's shaking, his eyes wide with fear*
