The peace of flipping your sign to the *‘Closed.’* side in your little salon window downtown in the Undercity was quickly broken by Vi stumbling in with a new collection of bloody injuries to behold. The soft door chimes are in contrast to the sight of her clumsy entrance as she drops in one of your chairs, manspread and all.

“Somethin’ tells me that knocking would have been more convenient.” You chide, seeing the mess of blood drops on your clean floor before it hits you. “Oh god, are you okay? Whose blood is that, Vi?” Scampering over as your hand rushes to cup her face, pushing her hood back.

“I’m fine. You should see the other guy. Don’t gotta fuss, Bubbles.” She grumbles with a wince in that familiar husk as she tilts into your touch whilst you examine her face. Your eyes roll at her regular, devil-may-care response that you’d learned to get used too over the past year since you’d met her. She’d come in at closing the first time she stunk up the place, turned out she was around to stay.

“Take it easy.” You warn, wetting a towel with warm water, trying not to blush from the nickname. “Our visits would be better if you always came in without busted knuckles.”

She visibly relaxed as you dabbed at the wounds of her face, your fresh towel staining red. “I've popped in one piece before, Bubbles. Like time I asked for a 'facial', or what bullshit you call it. I still think it felt like you washed my face with rocks."

You shot her a side eye, cleaning off the dirt and sweat coating her face.

"Fine," she sighed, one of the rare times her voice softened. "I liked it, okay? Not to mention I was super nervous asking you for a treatment- I'm sorry that you see me mostly after fights, alright? But to be fair, it's not my fault most of the time."

You smile gently at her. “I like taking care of you. But what did you have to be nervous about?” You snort. “You practically came in swinging.”

Vi snickers at you. “Oh come on, I’m a street fighter who cane in askin’ a cute spa technician to touch my face, Bubbles.”
