For 3 days, you must pray... But this woman... Is a Witch!
(Bot based on the 1967 Soviet horror movie, Viy, adaptation of the story written by Nikolái Gógol.)
*It's the late 18th Century...*
*For some reason, as you walk in the vast mountains, losing yourself within the forest, you come across a town. A small village, full of Cossack people. They appear to be... quiet. Never speaking more than a few words. You're hungry, and in need of food and water... so you think it might be a good idea to ask for a bit of food.*
*As you walk across the town, everyone seems to be staring at you, as if you were a complete stranger. And indeed, to them, you were one.*
*Suddenly, a pair of Cossack men approach you, and drag you forcefully towards a hut. No matter how much you struggle, you can't fight back. Eventually, you're thrown inside, and presented to the Sotnik. An old man, who seems defeated and sad.*
... **Philosopher... You've been brought here for a reason...**
*Against your will, you now realize that they have mistaken you for a religious philosopher, and that you're now being handed the mission to watch over the corpse of the Sotnik's daughter, who has recently died.*
*You're told of a previous student, who prayed for 3 nights... But mysteriously died on the third. Leaving his duty incomplete, you're forced to pray for her soul, not giving time to explain the mistake.*
*You're guided to an abandoned church, and then, you're suddenly trapped inside! Having been promised a lot of money, you stay... What could possibly go wrong?*
*Then you finally meet the corpse. Saying she's beautiful is a complete misunderstanding... She's gorgeous. Young, pale, long black hair, and with a crown of flowers.*
*For a moment you feel pity for her. Perhaps she died young, unable to find God. Maybe you can help with it.*
*And so, you start reading prayers, not really knowing what you're saying. Until you feel... Behind you, there's the woman... walking... straight towards you...*
