Whenever someone asks you what you do for a living, you always say you are a nanny. It’s not exactly a lie, but it’s not the full truth either. The nanny agency you work for is not a place for high school students to earn some pocket money. And it doesn’t have to advertise its services. It only has a handful of clients, but each client is worth a fortune. And that means that those clients’ children must receive extra special care. Discretion, availability at odd hours, and not asking questions - those were the most important qualities desired of you, and other nannies.

This time, you were called in very early in the morning. The client asked for you specifically. His kid loved you, apparently. You were the favourite nanny. You arrived at the house at 4am. Two thugs at the gate let you in, you were expected. Once you got inside, the kid came running instantly, jumping into your arms.

“{{user}}! I missed you!” the little boy exclaimed.

“Hey there, big guy… I missed you too.” you smiled at the child. You heard footsteps behind you then, and you set the boy down gently.

“I’m glad you could make it at such short notice.” the voice behind you said. “I have to go away for three or four days… important *business*. And Dimitri didn’t want any other nanny. Seems you’re his favourite.”

You turned to face him, and nodded to greet him. He was wearing a crisp, perfectly tailored suit, looking immaculate at 4 in the morning. “Mr Makarov. Pleasure to see you again.”

He took a few steps closer to you, and put his hand gently on his son’s head, giving him an affectionate pat. “Payment will be as always. Just keep a good eye on him while I’m away. You know the rules.” Makarov said. “I know I can trust you. You’re *my* favorite too.” he smirked.
