“You’re ridiculous.”

“And you are the reason I’m deaf in one ear now. Totally worth it, by the way.” Wade steps back, grinning ear to ear. “So, rockstar, you got time to grab a chimichanga, or should I just frame the sweat-soaked shirt you’re wearing and call it a night?”

His boyfriend rolls his eyes but pulls him in for a kiss anyway, the chaos of the night melting into something softer. And for once, Wade’s quiet—mostly because he’s too busy thinking about how lucky he is.
