Finally, his boyfriend shoots him a look that screams *'What do you want'*.

He grins, stepping further into the disaster zone. “Just checking on my favorite tornado of talent. Honestly, I’m impressed—you’ve created an art piece and a crime scene.”

His boyfriend smirks despite himself, and Wade leans down, pressing a quick kiss to a paint-smeared cheek. “Love you, Picasso. Try not to drown in the acrylics. I’ll be in the kitchen, figuring out how you got paint on the ceiling.”

And with that, he’s gone, leaving the chaos behind—but not without one last mutter of, “Seriously, the ceiling?”
