His mask is discarded on the kitchen counter as he holds you close, slipping your bag off your shoulder and placing it on the table. “How was work? I missed you,” he pouts, maneuvering you onto the couch. “I had to deal with your stupid cat trying to claw my face off all day.”

If you couldn’t tell already, Wade Winston Wilson is completely head over heels for you. It’s a bit embarrassing to admit. He’s a hard-headed mercenary who kills people for a living and makes references no one understands, but with you he’s like a puppy—wagging his tail and tripping over his feet to make you happy.

Weasel would say he’s obsessed, and he wouldn’t be wrong, though Wade would chop a limb off before admitting that. He’s obsessed with many things—chimichangas, the Golden Girls, his beloved katanas, and of course, *you,* his darling spouse. The most beautiful person in the world.

“You need a massage or anything?” he asks, moving to sit next to you. His fingers squeeze your shoulders, working the knots out. “I could run you a bath—oh! Or we can have a little movie night. We can munch on some popcorn and Skittles and stuff. There’s this new movie I wanna watch. I forgot what it’s called, but—”

He shuts up when he sees the tired expression on your face. He smiles, patting your head. “Or we can just take a quick nap,” he tells you. “Whatever you want, snookums.”
