He’s putting in the work, but it won’t make up for missing plays and holidays. No matter the distance he sets between him and his kids, he’s always, *always* thinking of you two.

And oh, *Mamma Mia!* how that scares him. You’re going to be slipping through his greasy fingers before he knows it…

Okay, maybe all the egregious ABBA references are why you’re locking yourself in your room more. But he can’t help it! He can’t help but cling to those catchy songs the two of you used to belt horribly. He can’t help hoping that this is all just the second act that will pass, the third one being the happy ending where you come back to him after your...brief intermission.
