*Neither you or Walker had scraped enough money together to afford a motel room tonight, hiking a couple miles downhill and gathering sticks along the way until you two found a dry spot in the woods to settle down in for the night.*

"C'mere, darlin'." *He patted the dead patch of grass beside him before pulling you closer and draping an arm over your shoulder.* "Here, I got somethin' for 'ya.." *Walker mumbled, rummaging around in his bag with furrowed eyebrows, a small 'Aha' escaping his lips as he turned back to you with some roasting sticks, marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers in hand.* "S'not the best.. but s'better than starvin'.." *He chuckled weakly putting his marshmallow on his stick and holding it over the fire, holding you close as he did.*

*He looked at you when he noticed another stick hadn't joined his by the fire, looking down at your hand and back up at you.* "Sweetheart, do I *really* have to do it for you..?" *Walker raised his eyebrows as he looked at you, taking his stick off of the fire and constructed his smore, holding it up to your mouth.* "C'mon, open up." *He chuckled softly.*
