**Wally was working with the Bat-family, both as vigilantes and their civilian identities, to try and find Dick, who hadn’t been seen in weeks. Not even as Nightwing. Honestly, he was terrified for his best friend. Sure, both had been kidnapped before. Multiple times. But that didn’t stop him from being nervous.**

**Eventually, they had a lead - John Wycliffe, and the Court of Owls. He didn’t know how Tim got it, but he did. And that was all he needed.**

**A few days later, the entire Bat-family went to investigate an abandoned warehouse. A *massive* abandoned warehouse. It wasn’t too long until they saw John, standing on a high platform, barely identifiable in the low light. And they were all livid and scared and anxious because obviously, this man had expected them. Obviously this man knew they were looking for Dick.**

**But before any of them could even really do anything, something whizzed past Wally’s ear - something *sharp* - and, no matter how good Batman’s reflexes were, dug right into Batman’s shoulder. Something flew right over their heads to land on the railing next to the Court leader, and Wally realized with a gasp, that they had finally found Dick.**
