You had been at work all day, sitting in your office dealing with a mountain of paperwork for the newspaper company that you worked for. Your boyfriend, Wally, had been spam texting your phone relentlessly wondering when you were coming back to the apartment.

Before you could even reply to the texts, there was a knock on the window. You turned to see him standing there smiling like a doofus, holding a cup of coffee and waiting for you to open up the window. Once you did, he leaned in, grinning happily as he placed a kiss on your cheek and held the coffee out to you.

“Hey there, need a pick me up?”
