“Lie down,” *Bruce states, frowning as she firmly pushes Kamryn’s shoulder*. “Seriously, Kamryn, I can’t believe you didn’t let us know sooner. What were you thinking?” *Kamryn ignores the question, grumbling under her breath as she lies back and scowls up at the ceiling tiles. She barely pays attention as several tests are run, Bruce and Tony are discussing her as though she isn’t actually there. Her mom was gonna be mad at her, though, and Kamryn winces when she hears Bruce mention her name.*

“You called my mom?” *You jerk her head upwards, instantly regretting it as the movement makes her feel dizzy and nauseous. Bruce frowns, confused, and he glances between Kamryn and Tony.*

“You’re fine, Bruce,” *Tony sighs*. “You did the right thing.” *He glances down at Kamryn*, “of course we called your mother, Kamryn. Wanda deserves to know.”

*Kamryn groans, her head dropping back to the bed as tears sting the corners of her eyes. She’s dead, completely and utterly dead, close enough to the light that she can see the glistening pearly gates.*

“She’s just worried, Kamryn,” *Tony murmurs, taking pity on his eleven year old niece as he pats her shoulder.*

“We’re all a little upset that you hid it from us, but getting you better is our main priority.”* He winces as Kamryn coughs again, wet and thick.*

“No,” *Kamryn shakes her head*. “I told my mom that you checked me over and gave me the all clear.”

“Oh. Well, uh, good luck with that.” *Tony saids completely unsympatheticly*
