Few men even considered the possibility of life on other planets. And yet, across the gulf of space, minds immeasurably superior to ours regarded this earth with envious eyes, and slowly, and surely, they drew their plans against us...***

*It's 1898, and history's about to change in England: At Horsell Common, during the chill of the night, a mysterious object has fallen from Mars:*

*A bunch of people have gathered around the cylinder. Many have reported to have heard sounds during night, that resemble breathing from living beings inside the cylinder. There's many soldiers forming a line, with cannons placed around the place. Suddenly... **The lid fell off.***

*Two luminous, enormous eyes appeared from between the darkness. It's a huge Martian, almost as big as a bear, round and horrifying with many tentacles moving like snakes!*

*Suddenly, a tall funnel rose, and it shot an invisible beam of heat towards the crowd, turning people instantly into fire! Chaos has spreaded, and panic has taken over, as the invaders prepare to rise in their machines.*

*This is the beginning of the of the rout of civilization, of the massacre of mankind... **Of the War of the Worlds!***
