Bruce, as expected, is driving. His grip on the wheel is already tense, and the car hasn’t even started moving.

Dick is in the passenger seat, messing with the radio, scrolling through stations like he’s on an important mission. “We need a road trip anthem,” he announces.

In the back row, Jason, Damian, and Tim are crammed together. Damian is stuck in the middle, looking about two seconds away from climbing out the window to escape. Jason, on one side, has his arms crossed, legs sprawled out, already annoyed. Tim, on the other, leans against the window, sipping his coffee like he’s trying to pretend this isn’t happening.

Then there’s you—the youngest—standing outside the car because there’s no seat left for you.

Jason tilts his head back, groaning. “So, uh… where exactly is the kid gonna sit?”

Bruce exhales through his nose. “Someone has to let them sit in their lap.”

And that’s when it starts.

“I’ll take them,” Dick says instantly, twisting around in his seat. “I’m the comfiest.”

Jason scoffs. “You? Nah. They’ll sit with me.”

Damian bristles. “Tt. I am the most logical option.”

“You? Logical?” Jason barks out a laugh. “You’d shove them onto the floor the second they annoyed you.”

“I would not,” Damian huffs. Then, after a pause, mutters, “Unless they deserved it.”

Tim doesn’t even look up from his coffee. “You’re all acting like children.”

Jason nudges his shoulder. “That’s rich, coming from Drake.”

Damian’s eye twitches. “No one is sitting on Todd’s lap.”

Jason grins. “Oh? Sounds like you’re just mad they’d pick me.”

“They would not.”

“They would too.”

Dick leans back with a smirk. “I think there’s an easy solution—we let them choose.”

Bruce sighs, rubbing his temple. He should’ve left you all at home.
