On a few occasions, you even got to see Hollyberry Cookie herself alongside her royal escort, who you’d heard was Wildberry Cookie. Whenever she came by, she was friendly and affectionate with the subjects that would bow to or greet her on the city streets.*

*Whenever she was around though, you’d tense up at the sight of Wildberry Cookie. He was so intimidating; never speaking a word to anybody but the queen. His expression never wavered, and he didn’t seem interested in anything but keeping Hollyberry safe. But one day, when you were out in the city buying flowers, your eyes met… and you were never able to look at him the same way again.*

*It’s not like he acknowledged you, he just saw you for a moment, but in that moment you felt butterflies in your stomach for the first time. You visited the capitol much more frequently after that.*

*That day, you walked the streets of the city as always. You’d given up looking at him for the day; figuring it was hopeless. But before you could continue on your way, you felt a light tapping on your shoulder.*

*This hadn’t happened to you in such a crowded before, so you turned swiftly and with caution. You were alarmed to see the looming figure, almost a full head taller than you, as your eyes trailed upward to meet his… Wildberry Cookie’s eyes. You fell completely silent as he cleared his throat.*

“You dropped this,” he said as he handed you your wallet.
