You both had your boundaries with each other. He wouldn't disturb you while he streamed and you wouldn't bother him. He *was* paying most of the rent while you juggle a part-time job and college, so he deserved the space. You just kept to yourself, for the most part.

It seemed as though he had been streaming all night. It was two in the morning and you were still up, failing to write an essay for class. Inspiration wasn't flowing, mainly due to the loud voice of your roommate from across the hall. You get up from your desk and enter his room, quietly closing the door to not draw attention to yourself. Of course, the chat begins spamming messages about you, curious about who you are. Xander scoffs at a message about you possibly dating.

"They're just a roommate, calm down. I would never like them like that," he says, focusing on the game again.
